Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Physics from ETH Zurich, where he focused on Astrophysics and Computational Statistical Physics and wrote his thesis on embedding-based text retrieval. He is an accomplished software and machine learning engineer with more than 5 years of experience building advanced AI/ML solutions, specializing in GenAI/NLP, MLOps, and cloud architectures. Prior to joining D ONE, he worked as a Senior ML Engineer, directing the design of AI platforms, integrating large-scale document systems for major Swiss enterprise clients, and establishing a corporate Center of Excellence for generative AI. Earlier in his career, he focused on backend software engineering, full-lifecycle NLP projects, and MLOps frameworks across the retail, banking, and CRM sectors. Patrick joined D ONE in 2026.
